Las Metas (Objectives):Repaso III –Students will review how to conjugate regular present tense verbs ending in AR, ER, and IR. Students will also demonstrate their understanding of E to IE stem changing verbs.
La Agenda de Clase:
Classwork: Design a Bootie Verb Poster – See requirements below.
1. Create a poster that explains how to conjugate Bootie Verbs that change from E to IE. Make the poster POP by underlining, incorporating visual images, highlighting, starring, bolding all important rules, patterns, and terms.
2. Include at least three stem-changing verb charts (choose stem changers with different ending types –ar, er, and ir). Draw boots around each chart to show how the stem changes in some forms but not all (remember the laces).
3. Write sentences to show you know the meaning of each verb that you understand how to conjugate the verbs in context. Include visual images to show the meanings of the sentences.
4. Everything MUST POP!!! Snap, crackle, pop – because YOU CARE!!!!

La Tarea: Posters must be complete for tomorrow. They must pop in color, effort, and detail. Study for your quiz on Friday. Extra credit is available to earn extra points on the quiz.

1. What are the possible endings of Spanish infinitives?
2. What is the stem and ending of the following verbs? Estudiar, Beber, Recibir
3. What are the six AR present tense endings (list in the order of the chart)?
4. What are the six ER present tense endings (list in the order of the chart)?
5. What are the six IR present tense endings (list in the order of the chart)?
6. Which forms do not change their stems when you conjugate a bootie verb?

La Frase del Día: Mi padre tiene un hermano y dos hermanas. Sus hermanos son mis tïos.
Las Metas (Objectives):Repaso III –Assessment on Regular Verb Conjugations and E to IE Stem Changing Verbs / Review – Asking questions, expressing possession, expressing dates, discussing birthdays and date of birth, talking about foods and family, and making comparisons.
La Agenda de Clase:
1. Study with a partner before the quiz (use self made tests or make up questions as you go).
2. Complete the quiz.
3. Create your own family tree. Label members names and relationship to you (showing possession). Write a 10 sentence paragraph that identifies people, describes relationships between people, discusses age, birthdates, and include comparisons of different family members (older, younger, more or less…, etc…).

La Tarea: Family tree and paragraph are due on Tuesday 12/8.
